A man was shot dead, boulevard de Clichy, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, on the night of Friday to Saturday. The alleged perpetrator, a 50-year-old man, was arrested by the police.
An evening that turns into a nightmare. Around 2:30 a.m., a fight broke out on the public highway, near a pub, between several people. While a motorist stopped to try to calm the situation, one of the brawlers allegedly told him to “get out”.
In circumstances that have yet to be determined, the driver, a 50-year-old man, pulled out a Colt 45-type revolver and shot the swearer. This one, shot in the head, died on the embankment.
The man arrested in the 18th arrondissement
The shot fired, the alleged perpetrator fled by car. Dispatched to the scene, the police discovered the victim’s body. The CCTV images enabled the anti-crime brigade (Bac) to locate the vehicle, rue de Championnet.
A device was then put in place by the investigators until the suspect returned with suitcases in his hands. At the sight of the police, he drew his pistol again. A chase then began for the police who managed to arrest the individual in the 18th arrondissement.
Follower of conspiracy and anti-Semitic theses
The 50-year-old man was taken into custody and a flagrant murder investigation was opened. Originally from the Belfort region, he would already be known to the police and justice services, after a sentence in March 2021, to two months in prison suspended and 140 hours of community service for incitement to insurrection.
According to Le Point, the alleged shooter would be close to the theses of the far right, anti-Semite and conspiracy. He would have already been noticed on social networks and also on the Touche set not at my post, the program presented by Cyril Hanouna.
